While not quite Europe it is something that we have both planned. So as we have driven past this most interesting monument in ... Orem, UT ... of all places, we decided to take some pictures as if we were actually there. :)
Hopefully next year we will have pictures at the real monument of Stonehenge.

Life in the fast lane
Quite recently I had an experience while driving that I never thought would happen and hope will never recur. While driving back to Salt Lake after a wonderful visit with family, I suddenly found myself staring at headlights coming quickly toward me. I quickly slam on my brakes and get out of the way. As the car passes, there is no sign that they slowed down or even cared that we almost collided head on at 65 mph. After catching our breaths and calming our hearts, we decided we need to call the police. And of course my phone was about to die, fortunately Jess had her cell phone and we informed the police of the situation... They promptly informed us saying, (I'm paraphrasing) thank you, we have received a few calls and are aware of the problem. Now I wonder just how long this person was driving along I-15 in the wrong direction in the carpool lane no less.
Let this be a lesson to all, one never knows what you'll encounter at 12 am on I-15 northbound. Just make sure that if you do ever see headlights coming towards you, they are not a sign, you should not go towards them!! Instead, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!! There is my friendly advice for the day.
Until next time, drive safe, and LAUGH!! :-D

The JSSJ has been created enable an alliance that cannot be broken. Through two roommates that have stood the test of time are about to embark on a wonderful of adventures with good food and grand stories.
As any day should start out, our first log will be about breakfast. The meal that so much potential to be great.
Cooking, not only do thumbs separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom but we also have the fine art of frying, baking, seasoning, and creating fine delicacies.
This mission should you choose to accept could bring burning, crying (onions), fire alarms, angry neighbors, and husbands-or so they say. Well too much chatting it's time for food.
Eggs, Sausage, Blueberries, Pancakes... and the adventure begins.
| This is simply an example, our eggs would look much better :-P |
